One of my favorite parts of drawing is the initial sketching. I enjoy working out the poses for the characters and the composition that will help tell a story. There is so much energy and creative excitement during this phase that it just makes me happy. This is the start to a new illustration for my wife.......she does keep me busy doesn't she?
